What's your bao?

Pa bao: Artisanal and Homemade — Mood Restaurant Blog

Pa bao: handmade and homemade

A steamed bun, fluffy on the outside and generously filled on the inside. At Mood, we make them every day—to eat with your hands and share at your own pace.

The pa bao is simple only in appearance: a soft, steamed bun wrapped around a filling with character. No shortcuts—each bao is filled by hand, one by one, with the same care from the first bite to the last.

They're part of our "to share" section for a reason: they're meant to be passed around, eaten with your hands, and savored without rushing. Here are our three pa bao recipes.

Our Recipes

Pulled Pork Bao

Slow-cooked pulled pork, crispy onions, roasted peanuts, and kimchi sauce. The heartiest of the three, with a welcome hint of spice.
